Not all glass is the same:<\/p>

Printing on real glass<\/h3>

Real glass is mainly used in construction, for example in shop windows or large-area room dividers. You can also have\u00a0real glass printed directly<\/strong>\u00a0by us.<\/p>

In\u00a0most<\/strong>\u00a0cases, however, it makes\u00a0more sense for us to apply printed and cut self adhesive films to the<\/strong>\u00a0glass. These can be resistant for a long period of time. Nevertheless, they can be easily changed if necessary. Texts, logos, elements in frosted glass look or even pictures and photos can be realized here, without the need of directly printing inks on the glass. Learn more here\u00a0Glass decor<\/a><\/p>

Printing on synthetic glass<\/h3>

Synthetic glass, on the other hand, is usually printed directly onto its surface. In most cases it is more\u00a0light weighted and cheaper than real glass<\/strong>. Synthetic glass is also easier to process, such as milling into contours, drilling or thermal bending.<\/p>

Acrylic glass, the most popular synthetic glass in printing<\/h3>

Acrylic<\/strong>\u00a0glass,\u00a0also<\/strong>\u00a0known as\u00a0Plexiglas<\/strong>\u00a0or PMMA, is highly transparent and very suitable for\u00a0printing door signs<\/strong>\u00a0or backlit illuminated advertising. Also interior design has discovered printed Plexiglas for itself, for example for printed tabletops or high-quality\u00a0art prints as wall decor<\/strong>. In addition to crystal-clear transparent acrylic glass, it is also available in a whitish frosted glass look or in bright colors.<\/p>

Other crystal clear plastics for printing<\/h3>

Polycarbonate<\/strong>\u00a0is very\u00a0impact resistant<\/strong>\u00a0and is therefore often printed for theft-proof showcases or safety enclosures for machines.<\/p>

There are also other plastics with a crystal-clear or frosted glass look, such as\u00a0PET or polypropylene PP.<\/strong><\/p>
