At first glance, every sticker may appear to be just a simple “sticker”. However, self-adhesive films are available in an incredible variety. This means that there is a suitable product for almost every application.<\/p>

Film qualities for stickers<\/h3>

Self-adhesive films differ first of all in their chemical composition into\u00a0monomeric films for short-term, polymeric films for medium-term and cast films for long-term<\/strong>\u00a0outdoor\u00a0applications<\/strong>.<\/p>

For indoor applications and product labels, people alternatively like to print on\u00a0self-adhesive paper<\/strong>.<\/p>

Films for 3D applications, such as for body shapes like “car wrapping” on automobiles, are also highly stretchable with no shrinkage over time.<\/p>

Adhesives for self-adhesive films<\/h3>

There are also major differences in\u00a0adhesives<\/strong>: some films hold\u00a0without any<\/strong>\u00a0adhesive at all,\u00a0just by adhesion<\/strong>, for example for short-term advertising on screens or glass panes. After that, there are\u00a0gradations from removable to ultra-strong adhesive<\/strong>. Very special films even adhere to rough surfaces such as carpet backing, concrete or brickwork.<\/p>

The adhesive can also be applied only at specific points, for example with\u00a0dots<\/strong>\u00a0(“quick and easy”,…)\u00a0or air channels<\/strong>. This means that even non-professionals can apply large elements\u00a0without bubbles or wrinkles<\/strong>.<\/p>

Film colors for self-adhesive films<\/h3>

In addition to\u00a0white<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0transparent<\/strong>, self-adhesive films are also available in a wide variety of\u00a0colors<\/strong>, in\u00a0frosted glass look<\/strong>, translucent\u00a0colored films for light boxes<\/strong>, metallized films in\u00a0silver, gold or hologram effects<\/strong>. All these films are available in both matt and gloss finishes.<\/p>

Adhesive films for special cases<\/h3>

And then there is a wide range of adhesive films for special applications, such as:\u00a0Perforated films for windows and vehicles<\/strong>, which offer a view from the inside to the outside and, at the same time, advertising space on the outside.\u00a0Safety film<\/strong>\u00a0that self-destructs when you try to remove it.\u00a0Textile stickers made of acetate silk<\/strong>. Self-adhesive films with\u00a0tactile structural embossing<\/strong>\u00a0on the surface. The list could go on and on, we will be happy to advise you in more detail!<\/p>
